Lh Surge Before Period. My opks were positve from about 5 or 6 days before my period was due too. Roughly 24 36 hours before ovulation LH levels begin to surge to a peak of 25 40 mIUml. I know I ovulated on the 16th Nov. I know opk can measure hcg as well but its not that as its happened before plus Ive given up the monthly hope now.
